Upcoming features

Planned improvements for the next stages of the software's evolution: • Expanded compatibility to macOS and Linux to make Interface Generator accessible across all development environments. • Implementation of an automatic update detection system to notify users when new versions are available. • Addition of a bitfield selector parameter type allowing individual bits to be manipulated within a register or multi-byte data. • Integration of a guided preview to assist users with installing and using LUA dissectors after export. • Development of an interface simulator capable of generating and sending network messages from the configurations defined in the tool. These evolutions reflect a desire to broaden the use cases of Interface Generator, strengthen its integration into engineering environments, and offer an increasingly complete platform.

Why Windows may display a security warning

When downloading and running the installer, Windows may display a SmartScreen warning indicating that the application is from an unknown publisher. This happens because the software is not digitally signed yet. Code signing certificates are costly and currently not accessible within the context of this independent project. Interface Generator is distributed transparently via GitHub Releases. You can review release notes, documentation and project information before running the installer. If you decide to proceed, you can safely continue installation using the “More info” option in the Windows dialog.
